Volstead has four different Characters: King of Red Wines, Jack of White Wines, Ace of Rose, and Jokers of Champaign and Prosecco with its four different suits. Bordeaux, Pinot Noir, Cabernet and Merlot are four different red wines that the King of Volstead makes. The name Volstead was inspired by the Volstead Act, where this law excited during the prohibition in 1920’s. It was a set of rules for enforcing the ban and defined the types of alcoholic beverages that were prohibited. This red wine shows how there was still wine being made even though it was prohibited. It was made by private ownership and consumption of alcohol which was not illegal at that time.
